Guru Purnima Celebration at Bhopal Guru Purnima was celebrated in grand way at Maharishi Mangalam Auditorium, Maharishi Vidya Mandir School campus, Hoshangabad Road, Bhopal on 16 July 2017.  Brahmachari Girish Ji has presided over the celebration and started the celebration with Guru Parampara Pujan followed by Vedic Chanting.  Vedic Pundits have garlanded Brahmachari Ji and Rajvaidya Shri Balendu Shekhar Dwivedi Ji has presented him Poorna Kumbh. Brahmachari Ji has reminded every one the importance of a Guru in life. He said that ‘Guru is not only spiritual Teacher or Master, but he moulds the life to be a successful, happy, healthy, prosperous, enlightened and invincible life of his disciple. Guru is regarded as Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh, having total knowledge of every area of life and as and when requires, he guides the life of his disciple. The disciple has to have complete dedication, devotion and surrender to the Master with faith and then he enjoys infinite blessings and attention of his Master. ‘We have an example before us of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, who totally surrendered his life in the lotus feet of the his Gurudev, Swami Brahmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, a Vedanta incarnate. Shankaracharya of Jyotirmath and gained complete knowledge of Vedic Science including Vedanta.’ Girish Ji has further said that ‘Shankaracharyas are called Jagatguru, but they are not allowed to cross the ocean, how can they play that roll of Jagatguru? Maharishi Ji being a Brahmachari, had no restriction and he took the flag of ancient Indian eternal knowledge of Veda and Vedanta world-wide and played roll of a Jagatguru. There is no such example in history of a saint who has rediscovered Vedic knowledge and restored it in its original form presented knowledge in a scientific but easy way and got international recognition as the foremost Scientist of Consciousness.’ Professor Bhuvnesh Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University has reminded every one the greatest gift of Maharishi Ji to the world in form of Transcendental Meditation, Siddhi Programme and many other Vedic Techniques for the upliftment of human life on earth, leading to Heavenly Life on Earth. Plantations done on the auspicious of Shri Guru Purnima Celebration Guru Purnima Bhajananjali Bhajananjali was performed in second session by a renowned singer of Nagpur Shri Anand Deshmukh. Smt. Aditi Deshmukh, an accomplished Psychologist, Counsellor and Anchor has narrated the introduction of each Bhajan beautifully. . Accompanists Artists have created a beautiful atmosphere of music for over two hours. On Violin was Harish Langde, on Harmonium was Rahul Manekar, on Tabla was Raju Jagtap and on Mridangam was Vinod Patthe. 11 year young student of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Bhandara and son of Shri Deshmukh has accompanied on Manjeera Anand has selected bhajans dedicated to Guru and Lord Krishna from Meera Bai, Kabeer and other spiritual writers. He has successfully performed demonstrating different style of bhajans including from Kumar Gandharva, Bheemsen Joshi and Abhang of Maharastra.
