G7 Summit: India’s success stuns Pakistan !

India's PM Modi  meets US Presidents Trump
India’s stunning success at G7 Summit at Biarritz in France on Monday has bewildered Pakistan as none of the  leaders from world’s super power nations—France, US, Italy, Canada, Germany, Japan and UK discussed the Kashmir issue. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump met on the side lines to hold talks on Kashmir and trade among other things.

While India maintained that any talks on Kashmir will be bilateral, rejecting any scope for third-party mediation, Donald Trump said "India and Pakistan can solve Kashmir issue themselves" and further added "PM Modi had the issue under control". It is big diplomatic win for India. PM Modi received a warm welcome during his recent visit to France, Bahrain and UAE –where he was awarded with its highest civilian award-‘Order of Zyaed’. India’s success has spread a shock wave among Pakistani diplomats and leaders including Prime Minister Imran Khan who had expected US president Donald Trump to play a role of ‘mediator’ on Kashmir issue.

Without directly referring to the Kashmir issue, PM Modi said, "Many issues with Pakistan are bilateral. We don't bother other countries about these issues. We can find solutions through discussions." PM Modi also told Donald Trump that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir and trade topped the agenda for his government.

Ever since India has withdrawn the special status to Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan has left no stone unturned to make the issue as ‘international’, but failed at all fronts including at UNSC’s recent meeting where, except China, no country came in its support. Pakistan has committed a blunder after blunder such sending India’s envoy back, scrapping business ties with India and creating war-like situation by making provocative statements.

Addressing to people of Pakistan on Monday, Imran Khan said Pak will go to any extent for Kashmir.   He said a war between Pakistan and India could be destructive for the whole world.  He further said Pakistanis will stay with the Kashmiris till last breath whether any country “stands with us or not.”  This is the irresponsible statement and world is noticing it.

Pakistan has no option but to accept that scrapping the Article 370 and 35A was the internal matter of India. Also, Pakistan must listen PM Modi’s advice that both India and Pakistan should fight poverty and illiteracy together.  It is the only solution to maintain peace in the region.
